Book Recommendations on The Nature Kingdom from Rev. Susan Snowden

Crystals - ROBERT SIMMONS AND NAISHA AHSIAN

The Book of Stones: Who They Are & What They Teach

In the late eighties, while living in Louisville, Kentucky, I met a man named Joe in a strange place called Bechtoldt's Trunk House. He claimed to be introducing me to the crystal kingdom. I came to learn the Stones Chose ME, and they became my first great Teachers. While on the surface I seemed to be learning about them, the minerals were training me in perceiving subtle energies.

If you've looked at any of my other book recommendations, you know I thrive on firsthand experience, and find those writers that encourage experience as a path to knowledge to be of the most help. This book accomplishes that on two levels.

First, the entries in this encyclopedia come from direct communication with the stones themselves. While this may seem farfetched, I can tell you it is possible for us to talk with rocks, as well as any of the other nature beings. And, the attributes of each mineral the authors report are same as I received in my own work with them.

The book also includes exercises and suggestions to aid you in beginning your own relationship with these energetic Masters. If you are looking for a crystal book, this is the one to buy.

Water Crystals - MASARU EMOTO

The Hidden Messages in Water

My SoulMate, Michael, has traveled the planet, quietly, and with great reverence, infused bodies of water with the Intent from his NDE's...Loving LOVE. We've done it together since we've met.

Masaru Emoto proves a picture is worth a thousand words, and one word can change the fundamental structure of a simple water molecule. It makes one pause to consider that our bodies are made up of 70% water.

From the Amazon website: "This book has the potential to profoundly transform your world view. Using high-speed photography, Dr. Masaru Emoto discovered that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward them.

He found that water from clear springs and water that has been exposed to loving words shows brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water, or water exposed to negative thoughts, forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors.

The implications of this research create a new awareness of how we can positively impact the earth and our personal health."

Divas - MACHAELLE SMALL WRIGHT

MAP: The Co-Creative White Brotherhood Medical Assistance Program

I have a friend and client, Rosie, who starting working with the Devic Kingdom. She ran across this book and asked me to take a look at it and tell her what I thought.

In 1973, Machaelle Small Wright moved to 45 acre plot of land in the Virginia countryside. She felt she was hearing "voices" coming from the woods and began meditating. Quickly, in true Findhorn fashion, she found herself communicating with nature spirits and devas who encouraged her to plant a special garden she calls Perelandra.

I was struck by Machaelle's story and the veracity of the information coming from the devas, as, once again, it aligned with my own exchanges with them. Machaelle's relationships are much deeper than mine and she was given a comprehensive set of protocols called MAP, or Medical Assistance Program, utilizing direct guidance and intervention from the devic kingdom for personal healing.

There are parts of this system that really resonate with me, and parts that I find extremely dangerous. I'm sure they do not pose a threat for Machaelle, as she is recounting how it works for her, and her safety is insured by the fact this is her own Truth. However, that's not an ironclad assurance for the rest of us.

I emailed Machaelle with my concerns about the techniques and I found her response a bit dismissive, although in the edition of the book I read, she does caution those with "mental illness" not to use MAP. Otherwise, Machaelle insisted the process is safe.

So, I offer the recommendation of this book with a word of warning. Machaelle's approach involves invoking the entity of Pan. Before you begin the process of invoking ANY entity, be sure you are clear on WHO YOU ARE CONJURING. In addition, you should be SOVEREIGN in your own space. If you don't know what that means, perhaps you shouldn't do it.

Machaelle has written several other books and I trust they are worth perusing, as I believe her information is genuine and comes from her Heart.

Flower Essences - MOLLY SHEEHAN

A Guide to Green Hope Farm Flower Essences

I wish Molly put more words on paper, but it seems clear she is too busy living her Truth than to write about it. She's a great role model for me in that regard.

This book contains her conversations with the plants and the vibrational aspects of aid provided by each essence she co-creates with them. Like the crystal book above, it is a ground breaking reference manual.

I encourage you to visit Molly and Green Hope Farm at her website; you'll find much more information there. I'm particularly taken with her business model. You don't pay until you receive the product(s)!

Feng Shui - DEBORAH GEE

Feng Shui: Creating Environments for Success and Well-Being

Deborah Gee completed her training as a Feng Shui practitioner with His Holiness Grandmaster Thomas Lin Yun just about the time I completed the Clairvoyant Training Program at the Berkeley Psychic Institute.

A television producer by trade, Deborah wanted to make a video to market her business. She approached friends with her idea; she would do a consultation, we would undertake the cures suggested, and in exchange our stories and results would become the program.

I agreed to do the off camera work and my ex husband the actor was more than happy to be the talent onscreen when it came time for filming. It took me about a month to complete the list of instructions Deborah gave me, and the lessons learned in the process have been invaluable.

The outcome of bringing the flow of energy back into the house were quite stunning. I've utilized the concepts of the Bagua in many settings since then, from web design to landscaping, as well as in my home.

Animal Totems - TED ANDREWS

Animal-Speak: The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small

I became acquainted with this book because my very dear friend and student, Wendy, has an affinity to See animal totems while in trance, as well as when she goes about her daily life.

The Native traditions honor the language of animal medicine, or the gifts of information and insight that come when we encounter an animal being unexpectedly.

On the rare occasion that it happens to me, I always use the web to help me decipher the significance. It happens so frequently to Wendy she needed something more mobile, and she chose this book.

Ah, how synchronistic! As I was typing this, a burly raccoon climbed into the bird feeder right outside my window. A quick look into Animal-Speak and I can contemplate the message raccoon has brought me.
